The Boston Festival Orchestra proudly engages over 60 musicians each year who play vital roles as artists, educators, and cultural leaders in their communities. Our musicians perform in a variety of settings—serving as chamber musicians, teaching artists, and core members of the orchestra during our Summer Stage season in July. The BFO offers a professional environment that values artistry, collaboration, and community impact. We invite passionate musicians to join us in using the power of music to inspire, connect, and enrich the communities we serve. The BFO is a unionized, part-time, fully professional, per service orchestra.
